Here are some resources that I have found helpful in navigating topics regarding neurodiversity and associated struggles. I will add new resources to this page as I discover them.

WEBSITES:
A Diary of a Mom - This is the blog where I have gone to find understanding and to develop empathy for children who have been diagnosed with ASD, and also for their parents. I appreciate that Jess, the author, shares the evolution of her own ideas, as she discovered the importance of listening to people who have lived experiences to share. Jess is devoted to not just her children, but also to unearthing the best information, even when that challenges her own previously conceived ideas and beliefs. So many of the resources out there on the web- even organizations that seem to be well intentioned - often lack the perspective of autistic people, themselves. While I find this blog, itself, valuable, I find the many links the author shares to be even more valuable. This is my starting place in looking for ASD-related websites. Spend some time on the FAQ page, or let yourself go down the rabbit hole of links in the sidebar... just make sure to set a timer so you remember to come back to the real world after a while!

PODCASTS:
The ADHD Guys Podcast
This podcast is chock full of research-based practice, and these guys do not mince words. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast, because it is refreshing to hear the research shared so plainly and succinctly, with actionable next steps for parents and teachers. This is more geared for boys with ADHD, but the principles apply to all children with ADHD. Note: this is not meant to be an endorsement of products or services they may offer.
From their YouTube site:
